Woodlands Pet - San Rafael

Our San Rafael store is located at Third & Lootens, in downtown San Rafael.  We're just past Sol Food on Third Street, and across from Walgreens.  It's easy to spot our big logo on the building, and there's plenty of parking on both levels of the parking garage.  You can also often find parking in the 5 street spaces right in front of our entrance, on Lootens.

San Rafael is our third store, which we opened in October of 2012.  Anyone spending time in Downtown San Rafael is immediately struck by how important pets are to this community.  Dogs are lounging on the grass with their pet parents near the town square... cats are being walked on-leash, and parrots can be seen on shoulders.  If you live in the area, please stop by and say hello!  If you are one of the many who commute along Third Street every day, go ahead and make that right-hand-turn into our parking lot and check us out.    

In-Store Cat Adoption We almost always have cats and kittens available for adoption in our San Rafael store, hosted in partnership with Hopalong Animal Rescue - come say hello!

Puppy Training  If you'd be interested in attending puppy training classes in San Rafael, please let us know.  We hope to expand our training program when there's sufficient interest.  Right now, we offer two levels of puppy training in our Mill Valley store, led by expert trainer Mike Wombacher.  You and your pup can attend 6 weekly one-hour classes, which are held on Wednesday evenings.  Please register in advance, at our counter.  These classes are highly effective and very popular, so early registration is recommended.

Dental Cleaning  Our fabulous dental partner, Waggin Smiles, has stopped providing services in California for now.  We are grateful for their past service and wish them the best.  If you are an expert provider of non-anesthetic pet dental cleaning services, please contact us!

Vaccination Clinics  Our San Rafael store hosts convenient Community Veterinary Clinics right in the store on alternating Sudnays each month from 2:00 to 3:00.     [view dates]
